Gilles is the Software Engineering Lead in the Windows and Devices group, focusing on open-source. His team is responsible for the Windows Console as well as the development experience for Windows Subsystem for Linux.
He is an 18 year Microsoft veteran and has spent most of his career in Graphical and Developer platforms, working on GDI, Terminal Server, WPF, Silverlight, Windows Phone and many other aspects of the Windows ecosystem.
